Dr Bindeshwar Pathak was posthumously awarded the Champions of Change Bihar Award, 2025 on March 17, 2025, at Gyan Bhawan, Patna, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to social welfare and sanitation. Shri Kumar Dilip, President of Sulabh International, received the award on his behalf from Hon’ble Governor of Bihar, Shri Arif Mohammad Khan.

2024

Dr Bindeshwar Pathak was posthumously awarded the prestigious “Ati Vishisht Atal Samman 2024” at a state-level function, commemorating the birth centenary of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the 163rd birth anniversary of Shri Madan Mohan Malviya, in Patna, Bihar, on 25th December, 2024. Mr Kumar Dilip, Sulabh President accepted the award on behalf of Dr Pathak.

Sulabh’s founder, late Dr Bindeshwar Pathak was bestowed upon the ‘Maharishi’ award by Shri Sandipani Vidyaniketan family at the 28th Sandipani Gaurav Award Ceremony (2023) on February 16, 2024 in Porbandar, Gujrat.

‘Gandhi Peace Prize’ recognizes the contribution of Sulabh International Social Service Organisation in improving the condition of sanitation in India and emancipation of manual scavengers. The award was given by the Hon’ble President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind in the presence of Hon’ble Prime of India Shri Narendra Modi on 26th February at Darbar Hall, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi.
